Selecting From the Application Main Menu

The Application Main Menu, which appears when you click the globe-shaped button in the top-left corner of the InfoAssist window, displays commonly used functions. You can use this menu to create a new query, open an existing query, open the database to select a new data source, save a query, save a query as a new name, run a query, run a query in deferred mode, modify user preferences, access recently saved queries, and exit InfoAssist.

When the Application Main Menu button is clicked, a pop-up window appears, as shown in the following image, with buttons labeled New, Open Database, Open Report, Save, Save As, Run, Run Deferred, Close and Exit, and Options (user preferences). The window also provides a list of previously saved queries.

Selecting Options opens the Options window where the default user preferences can be changed to customize the InfoAssist application.
