When scheduling a report, you must select whether to distribute using a distribution list, distribution file name, or to a single address. You can distribute an entire report, or you can break a report into sections using the ReportCaster burst feature. When you burst a report, you send only the relevant report sections to the users you specify.

ReportCaster enables you to determine the recipients of each scheduled report, the format for the report output, and when the report is sent. ReportCaster gives you the ability to schedule and distribute reports at any time.

The ReportCaster HTML User Interface enables Managed Reporting Analytical Users to create and maintain Distribution Lists and Access Lists, edit, clone, and delete schedules, run log reports, and purge the log file. Additionally, you can check the status of scheduled jobs that are in the ReportCaster Distribution Server queue, and create, update, and delete an Execution ID, which is a valid user ID that is used to run a schedule on a specified server.
